Leila Nachawati is a Spanish-Syrian communication strategist and human rights activist. She is a professor of Communications at Carlos III University in Madrid, where she is also pursuing her PhD. She's part of a team of Syrian journalists, programmers and designers who just launched Syria Untold. She contributes to several projects and online media like  Global Voices Online, Global Voices Advocacy, Eldiario.es and Al-Jazeera English.
