Dr Stephan Weichert is a professor for journalism and communication science and researcher at Macromedia University in Hamburg and serves as academic director at the graduate school for digital journalism at Hamburg Media School. Also he is an entrepreneur and founder of VOCER.org and VOCER Innovation Medialab, an innovation hub for journalism projects in the field of innovation an entrepreneurship. He is author and editor of numerous professional and specialist books and articles about journalism and the transformation of the public sphere.
